SL-Track Technology

The Osaki OS-Pro Ekon boasts a powerful 49 inch quad-roller track that combines both S-Track and L-Track technology. During its S-Track phase, the roller track hugs the natural S-shaped curvature of the spine, traveling from the neck down to the lower lumbar region, automatically retracting in and out to provide a comfortable massage along the spine. L-Track technology is simply the natural extension of an S-Track; the rollers continue past the tail end of the spine and transition underneath the seat, reaching the gluteal muscles (buttocks) and upper hamstrings.

S-Track chairs without an L-Track incorporated in them often use airbags technology underneath the seat to massage the glutes and hamstrings; but in the OS-Pro Ekon, the rollers replace the airbags to provide a more effective and stronger in-seat massage.

3D Depth Adjustment

The Osaki OS-Pro Ekon is one of the first premium massage SL-Track massage chairs on the market to introduce a depth adjustment element. With the 3D function, the intensity of the human-like rollers can be controlled manually, extending up to 3 inches into the back. There are five levels of roller force to select from on the OS-Pro Ekon, making it an excellent massage chair for users who enjoy a massage intensity ranging from moderate, deep tissue or anywhere in between.

The 3D programs on the OS-Pro Ekon include Deep Shiatsu, Healthy Breath and Massage Extend, all of which can can be customized to make the roller strength as light or strong as you prefer. Further, in the 3D mode, you can pinpoint where on the body you want the rollers to focus — on a specific nagging area of the back, a region of the back, or along the entire SL-Track.

Body Scanning Technology

Prior to the start of your massage program, the OS-Pro Ekon will map the curvature of the spine and detect the shoulder line to personalize the massage for your unique body frame. This ensures that the rollers hit all the correct areas of the back without any guess work required. If you feel that the automatic scan has a starting point that’s too high or low, it can be re-calibrated after the scan is complete to make minor adjustments by tapping either the up or down button on the top right of the remote control.

Zero Gravity

Zero Gravity is the perfect recline position to enjoy your massage. During Zero Gravity, the backrest of the chair tilts back approximately 170 degrees and the foot ottoman elevates level to your heart. Because your weight is completely supported by the backrest, Zero Gravity will provide an even stronger roller massage and promotes a “weightless” feel much like astronauts experience in space.

The neutral position of Zero Gravity also has a host of other benefits, including spinal decompression therapy, an increase of blood circulation, an expansion of the lungs, and the reduction of tension in the neck and lower back.

Forward Sliding Space Saving Feature

The OS-Pro Ekon is equipped with a space saving function that dramatically reduces the footprint required even at its maximum recline. As the backrest of the chair reclines, the OS-Pro Ekon slides forward up to 10 inches on its base, allowing you to comfortably place it within 5 inches of the wall. Now you can enjoy your dream massage chair even in the most restrictive of space settings.

Foot and Calf Rollers

The OS-Pro Ekon is one of the few massage chairs on the market featuring a dual spinning roller mechanism behind each of the calves. As the rollers spin behind the legs, they target the acupuncture points to soothe sore and tired calf muscles. While the rollers spin on the rear of the calves, airbags on either side of the legs inflate and deflate simultaneously, providing a comprehensive calf massage.

The very bottom of the foot ottoman also includes dual spinning foot rollers that knead the bottoms of the foot soles and heels. While the rollers on the underside of the feet spin, airbags wrap around the side of the feet at the same time. The OS-Pro Ekon’s foot ottoman features an enclosed, ergonomic design that relieves fatigue and pain far more effectively than comparable open-toe footrests provide.

Full Airbag System

44 airbags are distributed throughout the OS-Pro Ekon to provide a full body massage in the areas that the 49 inch track can’t reach. They are located in the outer shoulders, inside the arm pockets, lumbar area, hip/pelvis region, calves, and side of the feet. Airbags work in concert with the SL-Track to provide a soothing air compression massage that revives your entire body — from the base of the skull down to the bottom of the feet. The OS-Pro Ekon offers 5 airbag intensity strengths to select from, ranging from weak to strong.

Shoulder Airbags

Dual pieces of airbags are placed just outside the shoulders. The shoulder airbags press inwards on the upper torso, providing a compression massage to a region where tension is commonly formed. The shoulder airbags inflate and deflate independent of each other during select programs — often timed to do so with the hip and lumbar airbags — to create a deep back and hip stretch. The airbags also serve to pin the shoulders into closer contact with the backrest to allow the rollers to really dig into the upper back and neck.

Arm Airbags

The OS-Pro Ekon includes pockets to place your arms in during your therapeutic massage session. Airbags lined with durable spandex inflate and deflate in a wave-like motion to compress the top and bottoms of the forearms and hands.

Lumbar & Hip Airbag Stretch

Two large pieces of airbags are located on the opposite sides of the lower portion of the backrest, which are designed to squeeze outwards, lifting your lower back forward. As this is occurring, the hip airbags on the left and right side of the seat base squeeze the waist independent of each other, holding the user in place and inducing a rotation of the torso. When the shoulder, lumbar and hip airbags are working in conjunction of each other, it will provide a rejuvenating upper and lower body stretch and twist motion that revives your body unlike any other chair on the market.

Calf Airbags With Kneading

The OS-Pro Ekon offers an innovative calf airbag kneading function that is rarely found in a massage chair. As the airbags inflate, they not only squeeze the sides of calves but they move up and down simultaneously, providing a kneading motion so powerful that it is even capable of squeezing the sides of the knees. When you combine the groundbreaking calf airbag system with the mechanical calf rollers behind legs, this massage chair will offer the most advanced calf massage system today.

Foot Airbags

Inside the wells of the foot ottoman are four pieces of airbags that line the sides of the feet. They will press into the sides of the feet, holding your feet in place and also help push your feet down into the foot rollers.

6 Automatic Programs

Choose from the six pre-set full body automatic programs and begin your massage session within seconds. Each of the six programs were expertly created by Osaki engineers and use a combination of the Kneading, Tapping, Knocking and Shiatsu massage roller techniques and the deployment of airbags to provide relief, stretch the body and revive your being. The programs include Sports Refresh, Extension, Rest & Sleep, Working Relief, Neck & Shoulder, and Waist & Spine.

• Sports Refresh: This program uses a combination of tapping and kneading to provide a deep tissue massage. It’s the ideal go-to program for after a workout or physical activity
• Rest & Sleep: Rest & Sleep is an excellent program for when you’re just rolling out of bed or ready to call it a night. It will gradually increase the intensity of the massage using a variety of massage roller styles
• Extension: Extension provides an exceptional full body Thai-style stretch massage that utilizes the airbags to twist and stretch the body. While the rollers travel up and down the roller track, the airbags inflate and deflate throughout the chair and the footrest pulls down and stretches your leg muscles
• Working Relief: Working Relief is a full body program that primarily focuses on the lower back, neck and shoulders
• Neck & Shoulders: Neck & Shoulders is a therapy-based targeted program that uses a combination of massage techniques to bring relief to your neck and shoulders
• Waist & Spine: This program reduces stress by providing targeted muscle relaxation along the spine, lower back and waist

Lumbar Heating

Two heating pads are built into the lower lumbar region of the OS-Pro Ekon. Research has found the heat therapy is productive in combating muscle pain and stimulating blood flow. In a massage chair, heat will force the user to press more firmly against the backrest and allows the rollers to dig into loosened muscle tissue more effectively.

Bluetooth Music System

Listen to your favorite music tunes, podcast or eBook by pairing your smartphone, MP3 player, tablet or any other Bluetooth-compatible device to the OS-Pro Ekon’s speaker system. With Bluetooth, you can even listen in on phone calls! The dual built-in speakers are conveniently located at ear level in the headrest area when sitting in the chair.

Automatic Leg Scan

The OS-Pro Ekon comfortably accommodates users from 5’0 up to 6’4 using the chair’s auto leg scan feature. After you select the program, the massage chair will not only scan your entire body to provide a precise massage, but the footrest fully extends and then retracts, stopping when the sensor hits the bottom of your feet.

Custom Massage Settings

For the majority of consumers, the six excellent automatic programs described above will be more than adequate, but should you want to create a custom massage, the OS-Pro Ekon offers plenty of options. Dive into the manual settings to generate your preferred roller massage technique, including Shiatsu, Kneading, Tapping, Knocking and Rhythm. When music is detected on the chair, there is also a Sync option which will synchronize the roller system with the beat of your favorite tunes.

Color Light Therapy

Both side panels cycle through various healing accent color sequences that bounce off the nearest walls to enhance your massage experience.

Fine Tuning

With the OS-Pro Ekon, you can refine your massage experience with the tap of a few buttons.

• Airbag Versatility: Select your preferred airbag intensity up to 5 levels – from weak to strong – or turn them off altogether. Select where you want the airbags to deploy (full body, arm & shoulders, back & waist, or leg & foot)
• Roller Width: There are three roller width settings: Wide, Medium and Narrow. It is on the medium setting by default, but if you prefer to have the rollers closer together or you have a more petite frame, you can select Narrow. If you have a broader frame or want the rollers to work on the outer area of the back, you can select Wide
• Roller Speed: Adjust the speed of the rollers up to six settings, from slow to fast
• Spot Roller Massage: By default, the quad rollers massage along the length of the entire 49″ track. However, if there is a general nagging area that you prefer to have the rollers target, you can geotarget a region or specific area of the back by selecting the Partial or Point options, respectively
• 3D Roller Settings: Choose from the 3D massage programs Deep Shiatsu, Healthy Breath and Massage Extend and then fine tune how far you want the rollers to protrude into the back, up to a maximum of 3 inches. The 5 levels of adjustability allow you to enjoy 15 distinct 3D roller programs, providing anywhere from a mild to deep tissue roller massage depending on the roller force you opt for. The 3D roller settings also have the spot roller massage functions detailed in the bullet point above
• Timer: The OS-Pro Ekon has three timer settings: 10, 20 or 30 minutes. By default, all massage programs are set at 20 minutes but it can be increased or decreased in 10 minute increments

Easy-to-Use Remote Control

The OS-Pro Ekon boasts an intuitive slim LCD-style remote control with all the key programs and fine tuning options displayed within a clean menu system.
